A friend recently went there and posted a pic of his "bird's nest" on his Facebook page which made me curious. So, I went to the Super Pho website. On their homepage it says "NEW Downtown Location Coming Soon! Check back for address & hours!" The full menu is posted on the site as well as some pictures. If you click on the "coupons" tab you'll see that they have daily specials Tues-Thurs. for $5.99.

I can't seem to stay away from this great place. Today I had Goi Cuon (Salad rolls with Shrimp, Pork, Vermicelli Noodles and lettuce w/Peanut Sauce. And Pho Tom (A huge bowl of delicately nuanced soup with Shrimp served with fresh bean sprouts, jalapeños and Basil. All wonderful. The Goi Cuon appetizer would have been a meal by it's self. I didn't come close to finishing all the food. It is all fresh and light but the volume gets you. Next time I'll bring a friend!

On the strength of recomendations from friends, I had little choice but to try #23, Bun Dac Biet, which was rice vermicelli, Asian salad with pork, chicken, beef and shrimp. It was served with a clear, amber-colored sweet sauce on the side. The flavors were fresh and crisp. It was a delicious meal, or more correctly two meals, as I was unable to eat it all in one sitting. It will serve as dinner for me tonight. My lunch companion had rice wrap salad rolls with chicken which was interestingly seasoned. Super Pho is situated in the little strip mall which has been home to Kyoto's for many years. I couldn't help but notice that, in this tiny plaza, were no less than three Mexican restaurants which are all unfamiliar to me. HHHHMMMM! Further investigation is in order!

When my husband and I are needing our "Pho" fix we have venture to Portland.So we are very happy to hear about this location.
